Yep Sea Reaper, robbo is nice, got a few of them off Coral Bay, mmm forgot about them.

Definately Cuddles, forgot about the old Tampon too, some good sized ones at Shady this year over a kilo, good fun on light gear,
I think i would like to catch a 200lb Tarpon too, maybe one day i will get there, nice!!

No doubt about it the Black I caught last year was awesome! But Sailfish have to be my favourite the sheer speed of the is phenomenal, they LOVE teasers so are ideal for pitchbaiting (sight fishing), and they really are just a beautiful fish in terms of their colouring. The fact that they often turn up in multiples is also a big plus. Solo in Broome last year really put them at the top of my list in terms of a challenge too.

Love Gold band and robbos are awesome to eat as well- pity they live so deep.

Not keen on any for eating, beef is best. For catching, hard to beat a decent sized bream on light gear.

The results below, didn't include those few fish nominated that are not 'known' as northern fish. like the whitings and things.

Of the top eight barra was the only river/freshwater fish in the mix, though a few others get into the estuaries. There's a good mix of lure and bait caught fish as well as sporting and food fishthere as well.

I guess the most significant thing is that those top eight are all within cooee of Darwin. Lucky to have such diversity on the doorstep
