Father inlaw needs a barra : NT Barra

Hey guys, I have my father inlaw is coming up to go fishing with me on the 14th of Jan. He always talks about wanting to come up and catch a barra with me. cr.p time of the year any suggestions on where I should take him? Was thinking of taking him out in the harbor.

If you have a boat , the harbour is a good option , around the gutters.
But Landbased wise, you should probably give shady camp barrage a try (although it's not advisable at the moment because of the mass fish kill) , buffalo creek , Stokeshill wharf , rapid creek etc .

Thanks dream. I will be going out in a boat, just worried about not catching anything as the last couple of times I've gone out only caught a couple of rats.

Culverts? Manton Dam? Harbour foreshore? Maybe spot six on big springs .

Big springs might do a harbor trip and just keep moving until I find some. Maybe woods might be a go

Take him to the Barra Farm cant go wrong.. and you will both have a great time..

Barra Farm is the way to go if you have limited time and a barra is a must
