Howdy FFFer's Went to Middle arm yesterday in a mates boat to do a spot of fishing/crabbing and came across a cheeky little croc (sorry no pics). Chucked first pot in no prob, chucked second pot in no prob went to reverse out of little drain and this little 2.5m croc pops up behind the boat, reversed back croc goes under. Chucked in third pot no prob. chucked in fourth and fifth pots no prob. Start heading back to the mouth of Good Creek to do a spot of fishing and happen to see croc eating second crab pot. Had his head inside getting bait out. Flicks the pot off its head and sits there, we charge in paddles swinging he goes under. Collect bent pot and put in the boat. We see another boat about 10 min later sitting where our pot got munched and warn them of the pesky reptile. They say "oh that little one over there, it was just eating that pot, got some pics of it". Damn head over to pot no 1 pot chewed up bait gone, go and collect other pots. Pot 5 same as 1 and 2. Saved Pots 3 and 4. All happened in the space of half an hour. Reckon this croc has figured out boats=crabpots=free feed. Little Mongrel.

Moz did that as well. He had a 15 year old Japanese exchange student on board & pulling the pots. The lad didn't speak much English. Moz thought he was a bit soft when he was struggling to raise the pot. Not sure how you say"F-CKKKK" in Japanese........a memory of Darwin he'll have for life.

Can be interesting when you see you pot moving up stream and the tide is going out. I was not keen on seeing what was inside. A Croc about four feet and not real happy
