Territorians in Tassie

Post by Matt Flynn »

Had FFFer 'Muddies' and his partner Rosa visit here recently, and former FFFer 'Back-Cast' and partner Melita are touring Tassie too.

Helluva rig Muddies has for travelling, cartopper and a big boat!

A lot of Territorians down here lately, and two Darwin families living nearby, it seems some people like going from one extreme to another ... :D

Yes Matt; met those guys in Tannum Sands on our way back down. My wife had to wipe the drool off my chin as I watched them roll into the caravan park. Super set up and nice people!

Must be on the return swing - it seemed to me in the late 70's/early 80's every second person I met in Darwin was a TwoHeadian ...... :P

I thought it would be a good idea to have a house in tassie and darwin. ie spend the summer in tassie and winter in darwin. the only problem was summer only lasted for a week where i lived down there. it might be a good idea in a few years when the climate warms up a bit more

The oldies here reckon the climate has already changed nomad, being drier in summer. Each year has been different since I have been here, with great variability in the seasons, and between each year, and also in the amount and type of insect life each year.

That wouldn't take long, Kev.

Be finished by lunchtime.
