In organising Mud's party I became aware of just how many people on here haven't met and how many of you work away.
It was awesome to have some of you catch up, so I'm proposing a set evening every month (eg. the first Wednesday) to catch up for a few beers. No pressure, it'd be a come along when you can basis.
In guaging interest in this extra curricular activity, post if you're keen to come along with your preferred day and any suggestions.

As I commented to SG, this forum transcends mere forum status and is bordering on the genuine fisho's club, the mateship displayed is, without doubt, unequalled in any forum thus far encountered, and getting together for a few coldies and yarn/info swapping session on a regular basis is a natural progression. Well in Sharkgirl... Somewhere near the sea methinks..Being an almost non- drinker, I'm willing to play taxi for those from the outer areas, on the occasions I'm in town to attend.

I'm back up in Dec, if this gets off the ground I'll certainly be in. The ski club is always a good place in the dry.
