Ive heard the same thing about rainbow trout and tuna.
They still have to eat.
So my next question is where can I get some C4 so I can drop it over the side and get fish?

Good idea. From now on, every photo of a fish must be accompanied by a sounder screen capture which I/d the fish on the way up and .... :D
I think that the more we post about it the better, it would help everyone work out what they are seeing on the sounder.
eg When they are almost vertical, i always thought they were head up. but Ive been told they are head down so they can see the whole water column

It's just one fish dropping 'chaff' to keep you away from where they're really feeding.
Fish are smart.
After all. they invented sonar, and transferred the knowledge when the whale swallowed jonah.
You don't think they told him everything.. do you??
" YOUTH is a GIFT "
"AGE is an ART "
"Doesn't mean you get any smarter..just wrinkled and cracked".

"No angler watches nature in a passive way...He enters into its very existence." (John Bailey...Reflections on a Waters Edge)

"Govern a Family as you would catch a small fish....Very Gently." (Chinese Proverb)

"Only those become weary of angling who bring nothing to it but the idea of catching fish." (Rafael Sabatini...1857-1950)

I pray that one day God sends me a fish so big that, when talking of it...I have no reason to lie.
