Gotta love the audience for your op! Hard lines Sheps....seen it too often though and almost always with a fish on the other end of the lure...cept one time mate pulled a nilsie spearhead off a snag and it flew back and pinged him in the knee....
Its not a crisis unless there is blood around.
If there is blood around......well its a police matter...

You lucky bugger Sheps, all you need is a baby seat in your boat & your laughing, :naughty: I can't wait to take my little fella out in the boat. 8)

Fishing in the top end isn't just a matter of life or death, it's much much more serious than that.

good fish there, well done!!

i need to find awsome creek 2, found good creek, not bad creek, ok creek, but only awsome creek i have found is in the fresh.

can't wait for the water to go down a bit there though coz it should be awsome again this year.
If there is water and it holds fish, then it is fun trying to fool them into eating what you offer!!

Especially when you can see them!

great report Sheps, great Pics too !!!

Ive had a Minnkota for about 5yrs now, finally bought one from a mate of a mate, one of my mates was pushin me to get one as he reckoned they are the ants pants.

After much deliberation ....I bought a S/H one, for $600 !! turns out it only had dirty contacts, & ....hes right

Max, you gotta get one, but get one with Autp Pilot & Co-Pilot remote rather than I-Troll. Waht size boat have you got & is it tiller or soie console ??

The Auto Pilot is invaluable, steers itself even allows for wind, Co-Piot allows for cordless steering from anywhere in the boat .

Def get Bowmount, Auto Pilot & Co Pilot , you;ll need 55lbs thrust minimum, I pull my 460 around & get 8hrs out of a 100ah Battery trolling at 2/2.2kph , you'll get about 11/12hrs if you turn the Autopilot off, saving a bit of power.
