Lizzy river arvo fish - 06 Nov

Post by jam13545 »

Went out for a quick blat in the tinny after the rain passed through, launched just after the low tide at the palmo boat ramp, flicked all sorts of lures around the first island on the left heading downstream. No luck catching anything, saw a queenfish jumping about, and a pod of dolphins, which I didn't expect in that part of the harbour. Was tossing up whether to go or not, but was still a good arvo out in the tinny, regardless of catch, the old saying rings true.

Good report. Amazing where the dolphins show up, they go up with Buffalo Creek with the tide, maybe they turn back once they get a whiff up the top :D

Seen the dolphins herding barra on a sand bar in little Howard one day in a foot of water near low tide.
