Hi Guys
Thinking of trying a cast net and wondering what type of material, size etc you guys would recommend. Once that's sorted, best place to get one.

I like an 8-10footer in mono.
I dont bother with expensive ones as they all tear the same on snags.
The drawstrings are great but all the extra lines can stuff them up.

Learn on a small one first or at least that's how I went about it

You can buy easycast cast nets now but I've never used one so I cant comment on what they are like
I started small and progressed to a large drawstring but I still use the small one in shallow creeks and tight spots

If thinking of buying an easythrow add in the cost of a wheelchair.

Advertising shows man in wheelchair casting perfectly from jetty.

I bought one and couldn't throw the bl..dy thing.

I put it down to not affording the wheelchair.

I've got an EZ throw and they are awesome. I call it my retard net cause any retard can throw one and get fish... Ronje - probably better using it as a drag net!
