Hello Fishos

Finally got the boat in getting a Lowrance HDS, found this accessory has anyone got one of these and does it make a difference

Larry from LJ Custom Rods was selling them and he said they were great. He also made a few videos showing them in use. Might be on u-tube

made this one a couple of years back still going strong.

Not as flash but protects the and plugs.as giving a bit of shade..

used ice cream container.

can make you one for $50 ha ha ha ha but I get the ice cream. :cheers:

I've got one, feels cooler to touch the screen, haven't put the infra red temp gun on it yet, used to nearly burn the fingertips in the middle of the day, must have been over 70 degrees, not good for the screen longevity

Straight off the website
Turned up 5 days later
They are made in australia
Fits from behind by using the flushmount screw holes

I have one on my Touch 12, keeps it cool enough for me to run at max bright.......I reckon they are well worth the cabbage.......

any way not to sure on the bought ones but the main thing I reckon is they cover your plug input from spray.

Should be using a nonconductive silicone based grease on the terminals & plugs & unused ones fitted with blanking cover plugs

Yeah tugger i do that as well as there is nothing worse than connector pins playing up.
